The Ghost Nebula is part of a much larger nebulous region surrounding Gamma Cassiopeiae that measures approximately two degrees on the sky — roughly four times as wide as the full Moon. The constellation Cassiopeia is visible every clear night from mid-northern and higher latitudes.
